Long Jing, which means "Dragon Well," is one of the most famous green teas in China, originating from the West Lake region in Zhejiang province. Its history dates back to the Tang Dynasty, was recorded in "The Classic of Tea," the world's first monograph of tea.
The distinctive characteristics of Long Jing is its flat and thin leaves with a bright green color. The leaves undergo a thorough process, including withering, roasting, and shaping, to preserve their natural color and aroma. Once infused, Long Jing tea produces a bright yellow-green appearance, accompanied by a fresh fragrance and a subtle floral aroma.
Its taste is unique. Its flavor is rich, smooth, and refreshing, with a slight bitterness on the finish. During the tasting, the aromas and flavors of Long Jing gradually unfold in the palate, providing a sense of calm and relaxation.

Mount Huang Anhui
Mount Huang, also known as Mount Huangshan, is one of the most famous regions in China for tea production. Located in the Anhui province in eastern China, Mount Huang is renowned for its spectacular landscapes, steep peaks, misty clouds, and dense forests. This unique nature creates ideal conditions for cultivating some of China's most renowned teas.
The Tai Ping Hou Kui plantations are situated at high altitudes, typically between 700 and 1,000 meters, where the cool and humid climate is, combined with nutrient-rich soils, provides ideal conditions for growing this prestigious tea. The ecological environment is excellent and there is no any industrial pollution.

How to prepare it:
Infusion time: 2 mins
Dosage: 4g/200ml (20cl)
Infusion temperature: 85℃-185°F
Steep about 2 minutes before tasting the green tea. Typically, Long Jing can make 2-3 infusion. Suggest not to finish the cup at once; refill when few left.
Harvesting:
Twice a year, harvested in spring, in April and May.

Age of Tea Plant:
Variety 43, mass selection, nationally certified, with an average age of 7 years.
 
Soil: 
Rainy, mild, and diverse climates in the hills near Lake XI. Altitude ranges from 300 to 800 meters. Soil is rich in nitrogen and organic matter, with an average temperature of 16°C.
